Audio Systems: 1997 ford taurus radio, ford taurus radio, taurus radio problem

all I get on the screen is a (call)sign and radio does not work.I will turn on but thats all.

There was a telephone option in 1996 and 1997, the phone send a signal to the radio rcu pack and will stop mute the radio cd tape and allow you to use the Cingular digital telephone this system was cancel in 1997 impossible to see one today

your RCU tuner needs to repair or replace its in the trunk left side behind the carpet
