Audio Systems: cd player, ford radio, ford aux

i have a2008  ford explorer and  my  cd player doesnt work when i tap on the dash ;i hear  the cd playing  for  just a  second. it sounds like  a  loose  wire,however is  this probblem  fixable or  do i need a new one.   this vichicol  has a theft  system  on  it.  is  there  wires in this  unit  or  some type of greenn  chip  board..the  raidio  works  fine under  all  conditions..the raidio   works fine  ,,,only  the cd player  has  the problem,,..  please help

Most likely the CD player tray is stuck,in that case the cd part of the ford radio needs to be repair or replace,  look for a repair shop in your are and stay away fromt he ford dealer they want like $700 for that radio  
the other option will be to buy a rebuild radio with warranty 2005 TO 2009 FORD EXPLORER RADIOS ARE THE SAME
