i have a 1997 explorer something is draining batt pulled a fuse that was arking that fixed the batt problem but now radio comes on but no sound what would that fuse be

That most likely it is the fuse for the rear RCU amplifier, this unit goes bad on the explorer and mountanier with the jbl sound system,
your rear amplifer needs to be repair or replace
