Audio Systems: 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan Stereo, dodge grand caravan, infinity speakers

I have a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan with the original stereo. It is the one with the 10 Infinity speakers.  I just bought the van and the problem is that the CD player gives me a "ERR" when when I try to put a cd in it.  It also will not tune any FM stations.  I am able to get some AM stations, but they are weak.  I have not tried the Cassette player.  Last owner changed the battery a few months ago but did not tell me of any issues.  I tried to unplug the negative cable from the battery terminal for 5 minutes but have had no luck.  Thanks

typical Chrysler radio problem, they all fail the same way because of condensation from the ac
your radio needs to be repair or you can buy a rebuild radio from this link
