Audio Systems: cd player, ford lincoln mercury, mercury cd

Hi, I just recently got a 2005 ford taurus and I see the tape player in the
front but I see the button for cd but I don't see a cd player. Is their one
installed under the seat somewhere?

There is no cd changer in the vehicle but it is prewire for a cd changer  the connection is in the trunk left side behind the carpet
