Audio Systems: Bazooka tube, VW Passat, vw passat, factory radio

Question
I have a 2006 vw passat with a factory radio and a Neo iOn :
PODVW3V6 ipod adapter. Can I connect a Bazooka BTA8100
amplified subwoofer to my stereo system, and would it
interfere with the ipod adapter?  

Answer
You must bring out an audio signal to feed the sub.  A hi-lo adapter or some such kit will do it independently of the ipod connections.  If you do it right.
