QuestionWhere do I find a CDX-71RF CD CHANGER FOR MY NON WORKING ONE?
kATHY
AnswerI would think Sony is the place to start.
If it is still under warranty you can use this link to get it repaired:

The CDX-71RF is an 'RF based changer' meaning of course, that it plays through the FM radio through what is called an FM modulator.
If you must have a changer then that is what you should get.... but
On the other hand, you could step into the present and buy a new headunit which will play USB thumbrives and have 1000's of tunes on hand which will never get scratched and will never skip due to a bump in the road.
For the best help matching up a new changer to your existing setup I would suggest a visit to www.crutchfield.com or better yet, call them at 1-800-319-8264. Explain your situation and they will be glad to help. I do not work for them.. they simply are your best bet in this situation when interfacing to some of your existing hardware.
If you end up going with a new headunit, they also can help you make a good choice on that.
