I am very frustrated. I have the original 6 disc CD player that came with the car.  It says "CD error" and the radio only works when it wants to. (I have 6 CD's in the unit that are stuck) If I stop and turn off the engine the radio will stop working. But when the car is cold in the morning the radio will work.  I have the Eddie Bauer version which has the DVD player in it (separate unit mounted on inside top). The "Ford CD player" allows you to listen to the DVD player through the speakers when watching a movie without using headphones.(Which is good when more than two passengers since they only give you two headphone jacks)Ford wants to charge me too much to replace the original unit. I have not found any after market players that allow me to still use the DVD  player with the speakers only with headphones....What do I do??
