QuestionHey I have a Pioneer flip touch screen CD ROM player in my car was worker great then one day no sound. Deck works, will play CD, just nothing comes out. I took it all out checked the wires replaced the fuses and still no luck. I'm stumped. The hubby said I should just take it in, but I'm determined to learn how to fix it myself. What do you just. Oh and I have a 2002 GMC Yukon.
AnswerI suggest you check the cables between the Pioneer unit and the head unit in the Yukon.
If it is the Pioneer AVIC-N5 unit - I suspect, you can go to this web site which shows pictures of all the units and cables:

If you scroll down through the photos you can see where the audio output adjustments and cable connections are made. You may have to remove the hide-way unit in order to find all the cable connections. But, I am suspecting a loose cable or bad cable that carries the audio signal.
In any event, that will be the best place to start looking.
Good Luck,
