Audio Systems: Jeep Wrangler CD Player, jeep wrangler, xplodsony

We just purchased this used Jeep Wrangler and it has a CD Player in it. Now it plays regular CD's like you buy at a store, but when I burned one off my Laptop, when we put it in, the player made some noises and wouldn't play the disc. Any ideas?

You might try a different cdr brand or one with shorter recording minutes.  A 70-74 minute one might play better than an 80 - 90 one.

Some of the older players were not designed to play the one-offs and there is great variability from player to player and from disc maker/type to another.

The newer cd players have been tested and designed for recorded cds now that they have become so popular.
