ANSWER: Tape Deck? I don't think they make them anymore - at least not easy to find. For the car CD and MP3/iPOD has taken over!

AnswerI know what you mean. A separate deck that can be mounted under the dash of the Silverado. Right? Well, they used to make these kind of components back in the 1980s and 1990s but I really don't know of any nowadays.
I even looked on eBay but could not find one (although I tried only a couple of searches).
However, there are many complete receivers that have the tape deck included along with the AM/FM radio function; both with and without built-in amplifiers.
Okey, while writing this note to you and searching more I found a deck that might be similar to what you are looking for:

but I don't think it is a current item in the Radio Shack catalog.
