ANSWER: Ideally 4-channel amps aren't used for subs and that one is a bit small.

You will need the 2 ohm DVC version of the subs.

AnswerIt will work, but it won't push the subs to their full potential. Any CEA-2006 compliant amp will work and doesn't have to be Pioneer, unless you want it to.
