Audio Systems: Mercedes CD player, mercedes c class, mercedes cd

Question
I have a 2001 Mercedes C class with the glove box mounted 6 CD changer. I ejected the magazine while a CD was playing and now it does not work. The display shows either NO CD PLAYER or MAGAZINE EMPTY. Is there any hope for a repair or do I have to replace the CD player?
I really appreciate advice. Thank you.

you can try this

insert the cd magazine empty and let it go to all 6 slots
then insert  the magazine again with one disc

or unplug the negative battery terminal for 1 hour you need to have the radio code before you do this


if the chnger is still giving you the same error  it needs to be replace

you can find one from oemautosound  they have new and rebuild original units
