QuestionLast year, I wanted better Ipod integration for my old 96 Taurus, and the ICarKit looked like the ticket. Researching it, I found that the wiring harness a CD changer for my car is in the trunk, even though I don't have a changer.
I little searching on ebay, I bought a factory radio for my car that has the CD changer controls, and ordered the Icarkit. Months passed. I finally have a day off, and go to install the stuff.
The plugs that go into the back of the original car radio don't match the one I got off ebay. It has Dual plugs and the ebay radio has a single plug. Is there anything I can do? Or is there a dual plug model out there somewhere?
Thanks!
Answeral 1996 to 1999 ford radios have the same plugs if the ac controls are the same the ipod interface will plug in the trunk
i just pull 2 taurus sable radios from my stock room and they have a small lack plug
if there is no amplifier in the trunk that is not going to work or if you got a radio with digital ac controls
you need to find a diferent radio
good luck
