Audio Systems: Playing Split Track CDs, bose wave music system, split tracks

Hi Mr. Drake,
I read your response about using an iPod with a Belkin accessory with a CD player to play split tracks. Would the Bose Wave music system and the Wave connect kit for iPod work? I am interested in good, clear and higher volume sound too and am willing to invest a little more. I sing in several small groups and need a portable player for the accompanyment music.
