Audio Systems: connectors, technics cd player, optical fibre cable

I have a technics CD player : SL-PG490. which I would like to connect to an amplifier.the only connection from the CD player is an optical fibre cable.I have two amplifiers , which have multipin flat cables : the amplifiers are as follows: Technics SE-CH610 and Technics SU-CH700 is it possible to use some type of adaptor ?

I can't believe the player does not have a line output - which would provide analog to feed the amp inputs.

But, if it does only have a digital out you will need a digital to analog converter box.  Something like this one:
