Audio Systems: volume button wont go up or down, clarion mag, volume button

i have a clarion mag rax341d it comes on but the volume button wont go up

Try a reset. If that does not cure it you will have to get service for it.  Then you may find out the cost of repair is about as much as a new unit!  Sad news but that is the way of electronics now days.

To reset the unit you must remove power for 1/2 hour.  If you pull the cable off the battery in your car that will do the job.  (Note: If the unit has anti-theft protection you must know the restore code to get the unit to come back on).
