Audio Systems: 2000 Toyota Echo Cd Player, cd rom drive, 2000 toyota echo

I had a CD stuck in the factory player and I was able to get it out. Now it won't allow my to put a cd in and make an "rrrr rrrr" noise.  Is there something I can do to fix it?

the cd got stuck inside because one of the gears is in the wrong position or it move to slow  because of a bad plastic gear now the problem after you pull the cd is the same, bad gears can not pick up a new cd  

this can be repair but be ready to spend over $150.00 for the repair you can not change the gear, all the cd rom drive needs to be replace  
i believe a rebuild radio with warranty will be less money ,
