Questionhowdy,
I just replaced the battery in my 96 F150, and I hooked the battery up backwards, (please stop laughing) When I went to put what I thought was the positive cable on the positive post, the appropriate sparking occurred.
All the fuses in my fuse box are fine, but I lost the radio.
This is just the stock ford radio form 1996.
Is there another fuse somewhere, inline with the power supply that I am not seeing, or did I just fry my radio?
Thanks,
Answeryes there is two fuses for the radio if they are ok the radio burn before this happend there is a protection diode that will blow the fuse in the fuse box
if radio is bad here is a link to replace it
