Hey Cleggsan, can I change the FM frequency that this unit operates on and if so how?  Thx in advance

What?  A sony changer does not have an FM tuner does it?

If the unit is a multi-functional set with a tuner circuit then I still don't understand why you would want to change the frequency.  Is it a Japanese model?  

If so, the answer is YES, but the cost of doing so will be as great or greater than buying a new unit.  It is an engineering job, not a technician job.
