Audio Systems: 12 Disc Changer Probs, cd magazine, disc changer

Question
Every couple of days my Delco changer in my 98 Camaro gets a disc hung up in it.  Even if I don't use it it shuffles through the cartridge and goes off-line.  I tried avoiding CDRs but no luck.  Will a new cartridge help or should I get am aftermarket changer?

new cd magazine is not going to help  the problem is inside the cd changer  the laser is getting old and tired sometimes is not going to read and  just skips the cd's  the new replacement are the 6 disc cd changer from delco
