Audio Systems: 2000 Honda Accord 6 CD changer not working, laser diode, honda accord

Hi. I have a 6 CD changer in my trunk, and it stopped working. It's full of CD's and nothing I have done is differnt than before, but it's not reading the CD's. It goes through one, spins, then in 3 seconds, goes to #2, spins, then goes to #3- #6, and then it goes to CD #0. I don't have a #0???
Do you know why? I can hear it trying to work, but it's saying there is no CD...

Probably the laser diode is weak or defective. They don't last forever and this set is now 6 or 7 years old.  It is very expensive to replace or repair.

I suggest you replace the changer or go with iPod removable or something like that.
