Audio Systems: Stereo out, pushing buttons, paperclip

My husband was pushing buttons on our 2002 LeSabre stereo and suddenly everything froze up.  My display shows the name of the song, (artist) the word "Scan" and the clock which stopped also at that time.  When we turn the car off, the display remains on.  Help  We cannot do anything to get it to work.

unless there's a 'reset' button on the front of the stereo,(small recessed hole that you can push a toothpick or straightned paperclip into) you'll have to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and when you connect battery back up, stereo should be fine, you'll just have to reset the clock and set your stations again.
