Audio Systems: Cold Weather=Speakers dont work, factory speakers, voice coils

I have a 2001 blazer and when the weather is cold the rear speakers do not work.  As the day goes and the temp goes up one of the speakers starts working. I thought it was the stock radio going out so we replaced it last night.  Well this morning we have the same problem. Could this be a problem with the wiring or is it just a problem with the speakers themselves?

  sounds like your speaker voice coils are bad .... very common with factory speakers ... go to a good site like crutchfield andfind out what fits and replace em ... should cure your prob .. but i'd advise replaceing all of your speakers if you can
