Audio Systems: MP3, hardware issue, disc player

Hi Jerry,
      I have a JVC disc player in my car which is only 12 months old and i was wondering  if its possible to up date the head unit so it will play MP3 which i have down-loaded of the net, The disc's play great on the computer but in the car NO GO.

Not to the end users, since it is a hardware issue more than a software one.
It would be best and cheapest to go down to Circuit City and buy a $90.00 MP3 compatible deck.
Perhaps you could Ebay the old one to help offset the costs.

In time, there will be decks that will allow you to use lossless formats like FLAC. The good news is, the longer you wait, the cheaper MP3 decks will get.
