Audio Systems: Chevy Solverado XM Radio 6 disk changer not working, tv tuner control, xm radio

Hello,
I have a 2004 Silverado with the xm 6disk radio system in it, and it is not working.  It all started when my dog jumped into my truck and spilled my coffee.  Nothing hit the radio, but when I started cleaning it up,, I noticed that it went underneath the console and may have gotten the large plug conector wet.  I dried it up, and the radio seemed to work fine for a few minutes, and then I heard static.  I heard static even when the truck was off and the key was out.  Now I hear nothing.  The radio seems to function, all the button work, but I hear no sound.  Have any ideas?  I there a seperate amp?  I checked the fuses and they are OK.

the amplifier is on the  right side of the radio but the pre-amp boar is in front of the radio  it is better to take the radio out remove the plastic face and spray the radio with contact cleaner from radio shack
