Audio Systems: subwoofer amplifier, sony amplifier, overload light

Hello, I have a sony amplifier that worked fine for a long time...Then it stoped working. I noticed that when power is connected to it the red "overload" light comes on. But the fuse is fine. Does this mean its blown? Thanks!

Hi Ethan,
Could be, but I would check out the speaker outputs before binning it.
Remove the speaker cables and see if that makes a difference, you wouldn't be the first person to stick a screw though a speaker cable or trap it somewhere.
Check earth, power, etc, obvious I know but sometimes it is the silly things.
