QuestionI got this Precision Power 5075 Dx amp from a pawn shop and am haveing troble figureing what wires are what. If you have any idea where i can find owners manuals on this pleases let me know
AnswerOld Skool PPI WAS GREAT!!!!! I'm the proud owner of the PPI 450, and a matching set of the chrome 4400 and 4800 AND LOVE'M
ok enough about that....
ok so unfortuanatly I'm a little confused though by the question. usually all this stuff is simply labeld at the connectors like "pos" "neg" "rem" you know, stuff like that. PPI did have a habbit of making these weird connectors that went into the amps for the PC series like the PC4400 that I have and such. you cant really use the amp witout the connectors. I dont know if the amp you have needs these but I dont think it does, I think it just has screw terminals or something? If the connectors are all you need then you may be able to call PPI and get them to send you a set of the conenctors, I beielve I had to do this at one point since the screws stripped. from the pictures that I see of this amp, the power wires just hang out of a hole so maybe with your's they've been chopped off? if it was purchased at a pawn shop most likely it was stolen so if the guy that stole it just cut the wire and ran that may be the problem too. see the photos here:

The DX model also had a remote programer to set the interal crossover. if you dont have that remote and the wire it connected with then I dont know if you're going to be able to get it to work properly.
Let me know if I can be of any furthere assistance.
