Audio Systems: no sound, infinity factory, speaker wires

i just installed a clarion bd375mp into my 93 dakota... i used a snap in wiring harness and connected all the wires... the deck powers on but i get no sound... even when i play with the speaker wires i dont even get static... factory deck works fine... any suggestions?

the dakota was available with an infinity factory amplifier somewhere in the car that you either need to bypass or activate.  
If you look at page 7 at this link:

it shows how to wire the system to trigger the infinity amp to turn on.
