ok, You didnt tell me the year so I'm guessing its around a 2005? I'm over in USA so from what I can tell 800 pounds is about 1500 dollars? You should be able to do a nice setup for that. It's a realistic amount. you wont be able to get the high end stuff but you will be able to get more of the bang-for-the-buck stuff. My favorate company in this area is PowerAcoustik. They make great products for the price. there's better stuff out there but you'd have to spend alot more.
I like alpine headunits the best I think. Something like this should fit your car and work very well:

for the internal speakers I highly recomend:
Polk DB 6500 components for the fronts and rears seen here:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vM7gNJtUsi8/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?wm=fp&I=107DB6500&
as for the sub I've had alot of success with the PowerAcoustik Fubr 12 in ported boxes tuned to 30 Hz. you can see these here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-POWER-ACOUSTIK-FUBR-12-12-Car-Audio-Subwoofer-Sub_W0QQit
(the pictures on this link are horrible! trust me I've installed dozzens of them to very happy customers)
this amp will run that sub nice: (a1800db)
http://cgi.ebay.com/POWER-ACOUSTIK-A1800DB-CAR-MONO-CLASS-D-AMPLIFIER-AMP_W0QQit
this one would be a little overkill but would also work well: (A2400db)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-POWER-ACOUSTIK-A2400DB-Mono-Car-Audio-Amplifi
then you'll need to build the sub box. if you do it yourself you can save a few bucks, if you know how. Like I said, tune to 30 hz and you wont be disapointed.
So far we've spent about $1000 US dollars on the system, you could spend about $100 on good wiring and another $200 for a good capacitor. you could also run those front and rear speakers off an amplifier instead of off the head unit. 2 of these (one for front, one for rear) would be great and match the sub amp I listed above:

The grand total for all that would be about 850 pounds.
Tell me what you think. or let me know if you want more detail.
AnswerI think I just answered this in my last message where I showed a bigger sub and amp and better CD player. the polk DB speakers are great and I wouldnt change them. You really dont need to spend a ton of money, Is there something about what I recomended you didnt like? or just the brand you didnt like? I tried to spec stuff that was the biggest bang for the buck. how much money would you spend?
