Audio Systems: factory cd+ aftermarket amp in 07 sierra, 2007 gmc sierra, interface plugs

i have a 2007 gmc sierra work truck. nuthin fancy except a cd player. i have tried the 12v light trick and i cant find a wire to hook a remote wire for the amp. i think in narrowed it down to two pinkish wires 1 wire is bigger than the other one. which should i wire it too? or is the any other wire i can hook the remote wire to? thanks

there is no remote wire on this radio the best way to do it is to buy a remote turn on  this interface plugs in to one speaker when there is audio it sends 12 volts when the radio is mute it takes the power off and turns off the amplifier
they also have them in hi/low with  remote
