Audio Systems: stereo problem, stereo radio, esn

Question
my daughter has the eclipse CD 3402 ESN in her truck. We purchased it yesturday.  The previous owner said the stereo/radio worked, but then all of a sudden just stoped working.  I turn the truck on and try the radio call 800 but no other number comes up across display and then the #5B701359 comes across screen and stays there. If you can help me figure this out without taking it to be fixed that would be great.

hello:
this radio comes with the esn code if you call the number you have to prove that you are  the owner of this unit   but this radio is register to the previous owner  
or call him and ask him for the FIRST CD ATHAT HE LISTEN to in this radio  if he can find that cd and you put it in the radio  it will play again  the day you remove the battery it will happend again so keep this music cd in a safe place
