hello when i put a cd in the display reads error

sounds like the cd's lens may be dirty or the unit is broken.  try using a cd cleaning kit.  if that doesnt work you cant loose much by trying to take the unit apart and clean the laser with alcohol and a cuetip.
if it still doesnt work it may be time for a new one.
