My Kenwood KDC-5032 Is flashing Protect on the screen. I reset the head unit, but about 2 minutes while playing it flashes it again.  I don't understand why it is doin this, it just started.

is this a new install and its done this ever since its been hooked up or has it all of a sudden started doing this?

I see you wrote, it just started but please confirm
have you changed your speaekrs or added speakers?  
see if the unit is getting hot or not, a certain amount of heat is normal but it should be impossible to keep your hand on it.
