Audio Systems: radio/cd, car stereo installation, stereo wiring diagram

I'm trying to install a cd player in my 1988 jeep cherokee, but I need a stereo wiring diagram. None of the dealers I've spoken with have what I need. Where can I find the diagram that I need?

Car Stereo Installation is not my area of expertise, but I have seen this question come up and be answered here several times in the past few months.

I would suggest searching through the prior knowledge base here for answers.  Also, a quick google search yielded several possible resources, like these:

Also, there are several mechanic's manuals (like "Chiltons") that you can buy at "AutoZOne" or similar autoparts stores that will have WAY more information and diagrams than you'll ever need.
