QuestionI have a 1994 dodge intrepid with the original facorty Infinity premium sound system.
My cd player works sporadically sometimes spitting out all cd's. Can this be repaired and is it an expensive repair.

AnswerYes it can be fixed, but changing it out can be even cheaper. I saw nice Pioneer CD players at Wal-Mart for $88, install kit for $9.95, and harness adaptor for $9.95. Pretty awesome upgrade, and has warranty!
If you are thinking of fixing the factory CD only because you have steering wheel controls and refuse to give them up, adaptors are available to convert the dodge button presses to infrared output.
If you still are not convinced, hey, take it in to the repair shop. When the tech says a new lazer assy is $200...
