my kenwood stereo cd player won't work.the radio works fine but when i put in a cd it won't load or anything.

You will need to have it diagnosed.  There are many reasons for such an event:

-  bad laser diode
-  defective motor
-  defective or damaged loading tray inside the mechanism
-  servo system malfunctioning
-  and more

Trouble with cd players is the repair is sometimes more costly than purchasing a new unit.

Go to www.crutchfield.com and see what fits your car; then price out what a new unit would be.  That will tell you if you want to repair or replace.  Minimum repair charge for the Kenwood unit would be around $100.
