Audio Systems: 98 ram front speaker, auto salvage yard, john snyder

My front driver side speaker quit working.
Its a 98 ram 3500 amplified infinity 6x9 with the piller tweeter.
I was wondering where I can get a new speaker amp or what do i need to do to bypass the amps on the front speakers.

You could get another speaker/amp from an auto salvage yard, or you could install aftermarket speakers. To bypass the amp, you have to tap the tweeter wires to the 6*9 wires. If you buy 3 way 6*9 speakers, I would just abandon the Dodge tweeters, as they are probably shot anyway.
