Audio Systems: replacing Bose Stereao in 1997 Maxima, bose system, harnesses

Question
What extra harnesses or parts do I need to install a CD deck to replace my Factory Bose stereo in my 97 Maxima?  I have been told by audio shops that I require a new deck and all new speakers because each factory speaker is individually amplified.  Is this true?

no is not  you can keep the spaekrs and amplifiers but they work together the day that you want to get better speakers
the amplifiers will need to go out  

to make them work now you need to turn on the amplifiers with the new head unit  you will use the small bluw wire to do that
you will also need a hi/low interface for bose systesm
to help you with the sound quality
i always told my customer to keep the bose system they pay a lot of money why get it out of the vehicle now  just because installers want more money for labor
