Can I put a delco CD player Model # 15071234 in place of a delco cassette player model# 16194545?

If the plug is the same, try it. GM part numbers mean nothing except to a GM partsperson. Avoid swaps in newer vehicles (2002+) as they require a trip to the dealer to reset the unit to the vehcile. In some cases, the newest ones are not transferrqable, even though they look the same. Older GM radios are pretty universal.
