Audio Systems: 6disc changer error 3, cd magazine, little hole

I have a 95 4runner with a 6disc changer after the battery was disconnected and reconnected the changer lights flash then beeps when you push the cd button the code error 3 comes on radio plays fine you cannot load any cds.  

Answer
unplug the changer for about 5 minutes under the cd changer there is a little hole with a small scre driver you can eject the cd magazine    plug the cd changer and try again  with one disc only

when you unplug the battery   there was 1 disc on the cd changer 5 on magazine

when you plug the battery  the cd changer thinks that there is 6 on the magazine and is going to take 1

and that is where the problem is

even if the cd changer notice there is on disc on the player and needs to put it back on the cd magazine if just don't remember where toput it back 6 slots  

happends all the time cd magazine needs to be remove before
taking the battery out
