Audio Systems: 1991 Camry Stereo replacement, aftermarket stereo, circuit city

Jerry,  Simple I think but I am trying to rep;aced the OE stereo in a recently purchased 1991 Camry.  First, I can seem to remove the console faceplate.  Are there screws or clips of some kind underneath ? Secondly, once I'm in and have the OE steroe out, what will I need to know about wiring changeover to an aftermarket stereo ?

You will have to figure that one out in person. It has been ages since I did one of those.

As to the rest...
Use a wiring harness adaptor for that car and you will not have to cut a single factory wire.
You may aslo need an installaion kit so it fits correctly.
These can both be had for about 20.00 (Walmart or Circuit City).
