Audio Systems: Hook ing Up, s video output, panasonic vcr

Kevin, I am trying to hook my Magnavox Tv (just one wire out the back), Panasonic VCR, Cyber Home DVD Player, dish satellite up through my Phillips receiver. I do have a rf switch.  I did have it hooked up so that when playing a dvd the sound came through the stereo.  But the wire got mixed up, now I am lost.  Thanks for your help.  Janet

I'm lost, too. Sorry, but I need a bit more information.

Which audio output connects your DVD player to your receiver? How have you connected the DVD player's video output to your TV?

Not sure I understand the relevance of "(just one wire out the back)" from the TV. Wouldn't that be the power cord?

All the other stuff (satellite connection, VCR) work okay, right?
