Audio Systems: 2 cds stuck in single cd player, single cd player, limit switches

Question
Garry,  my 2 year old inserted a cd into our 2000 ford explorer;  it already had a cd in there.  I can't eject either/both.  How can I remove the cd's?

i don't know of a way other than almost complete disassembly to get to it. unless you're very familar with the workings of the mechanisims, i wouldn't attempt it yourself, as major damage to slide and slide limit switches will occur. it will save quite a bit of cash if you can get stereo out by yourself, then take it to repair shop. it will still run around $100 to fix it, putting 2 discs in did cause some mechanical damage that will require slide mechanisim alignment, and possibly need a few small parts to restore operation. sorry, but that's the best i can suggest....garry.....
