Audio Systems: Skoda Car radio, fm radio stations, charles holloway
QuestionHello.
I own in the UK a 2004 Skoda car. Installed in it is a CD/Radio manufactured by technisat germany it is Called a Symphony. It is identical to the first cd/radio featured on their website at www.technisat.com It has a strange feature that it keeps switching between stations ie BBC FM radio stations as follows, Radio Essex,Radio London,Radio kent all of these stations are very strong signals.Would you please advise if you know of a cure. Neither Skoda or my car supplier have information how to cure this problem.
Thank you
Charles Holloway
AnswerCharles,
It's possible that the auto scan function is activated. The auto scan will scan through the strongest stations. If this stereo has an anti-theft code write it down and then disconnect the vehicle battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it to see if this resets the stereo back to factory defaults. If this doesn't help you may want to contact the maker of the stereo for more info about the problem.
