Audio Systems: lumina cassette deck plays slow, pinch rollers, cassette deck

the tape deck that came in my 95 lumina has worked fine up until today, it started playing tapes slow. (sounds like its about to run out of batteries for the entire time i keep a tape in) Is there anything I can do to avoid buying a new one?

It's possible that the drive belt may be worn out! You may want to check it along with the rubber pinch rollers. Please give me the complete model number of your stereo.
