Audio Systems: Delco car radio reception, factory radios, antenna connection

I am a used car dealer and I have had several GM factory radios (Delco) lately which act as if the antennae is not hooked up; i.e. they pick up only the very closest station, but not one in a town twenty miles away.  CD players and cassettes work fine, the local station plays fine.  Is there a common problem out there right now?  Is there a fix?

Some years of GM vehicles have been know for antenna connection problems. If you give me the year of the vehicle and the model number of the stereo/s, I can give you a better idea of what the problem may be.
