I am confused.  I an trying to connect my tv, vcr.dvdplayer an the digital cable converter.  Please help.

I'd be happy to help. But first: tell me what you've gotten connected to what so far. BTW, do you have a receiver and outboard speakers, perhaps surround sound and a subwoofer? If so, what kind of receiver is it? This is important because with so many components, the solution may lie in routing all the connections through an A/V (audio/visual) receiver.
