Audio Systems: Clock set @1:00 after stereo replaced, station memory, electrical connection

I replaced the stereo in my 1994 Integra but cannot get the clock or radio presets to stay in memory - any suggestions?

Two faults may cause this problem. 1, The memory lead does not have power on it.  2,an electrical connection or a defective part inside the stereo. First, check that the 12 volt feed for station memory has 12 volts on it.
