Audio Systems: Lincoln Navigator CD Changer, lincoln navigator, face plate

Having problem with 1998 Lincoln Navigator CD Changer.  When I press the CD button on the face plate it loads the CD's (one at a time),  but won't play them.  It does this for a couple of minutes and then displays "no disc."  I can eject the cartridge and it appears OK.  Any help is apprecistaed.

It sounds like the CD changer is searching for a CD, but can't find one. The most common cause of the problem is that the laser lense in the pick up assembly is dusty or dirty. A cleaner won't help because it has to be seen by the laser before it will spin! You will need to have the laser lense cleaned manually.
